Bentley is typically working on approximately 40-50 formal client assignments. This listing of code-names for current projects only includes clients in which Bentley has a signed engagement letter.

Bentley works with middle-market companies, primarily located in the United States, but occasionally which are based overseas.
MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS: On exclusive company sale assignments we seek to work with companies worth at least $10 million, but have been the investment banker for deals worth well over $100 million.
PRIVATE PLACEMENTS: Our financing assignments are typically to raise equity, although we also raise mezzanine capital and debt. Our sources of capital are institutional, not high net worth accredited investors. We almost never raise money for start-ups or very early stage companies. Our minimum dealt size is $5 million, but most of our assignments are well in excess of this minimum amount.
FINANCIAL ADVISORY: These assignments cover a wide range of projects, but many are acquisition advisory projects, valuations (but not fairness letters), financing/M&A alternatives studies and expert witness work for litigation. At times, a Financial Advisory project precedes a transaction.
FUND RAISING FOR FUNDS: These projects can be done on an exclusive basis or in an ancillary role to “top off” a fund. Bentley raises money for all types of alternative asset investment funds including, private equity (both growth and buyout), venture capital, real estate and hedge funds. Our sources of capital are institutional, not high net worth accredited investors. Our minimum deal size is $75 million, but most of our assignments are well in excess of this minimum amount.
