MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS:  Both foreign and U.S. companies have expanded their corporate acquisition searches to areas outside their borders in order to maximize values and achieve corporate goals. Bentley professionals have represented both European and American sellers of businesses or divisions in the global marketplace.

FINANCING: Foreign companies often find it advantageous to enter the U.S. market both to raise capital and to have their securities traded on an exchange or through NASDAQ. Bentley has experience working with both public and private companies on such issues.

JOINT VENTURES:  In recent years, there has been an additional focus on emerging markets, especially in Eastern/Central Europe as well as in Mexico, India and China where extensive local ties and joint venture partnerships have been established. Professionals at Bentley have spent as much time as three years actually onsite in countries within Central and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, North Africa and Latin America.

ADVISORY:  Bentley's international product focus is on investment banking and investment management. In emerging markets greater focus is placed on general financial advisory work, privatization and private equity funds. Bentley professionals have experience in both originating and executing transactions and investment opportunities. Bentley also has extensive contacts in emerging countries and has represented the key Government agencies, as well as local and western strategic partners, financial investors, major accounting firms and other intermediaries.
