Funds Placement

Bentley maintains an extensive network of institutional sources of capital for alternative asset managers. Although most of our capital raising is done for private equity (both buyout and venture) and mezzanine funds, the firm can also assist special purpose funds such as real estate and distressed situations. We have worked with both domestic and international funds, seeking capital both in the United States and in Europe.

While Bentley prefers being hired as the exclusive agent on a fund raising project, we do accept supplemental, tailored assignments that might involve rounding out a fund after a first closing or targeting a specific portion only of the institutional investor universe. We raise capital from institutional sources, which may include family offices. We are interested with working on all funds of $75 million or more.
