Managing Director

HARVEY MORGAN has more than 30 years of investment banking experience with significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory services, private placements and underwritings in a broad group of middle market companies. Mr. Morgan began his investment banking career at BACHE & CO. (later PRUDENTIAL SECURITIES) where he rose to become a Managing Director and Head of the Retail and Consumer Goods Group in Investment Banking. In 1989 he joined LADENBURG, THALMANN & CO., INC. where he served as a Managing director until 1996. Mr. Morgan then joined JWGENESIS CAPITAL MARKETS as an Executive Managing Director for four years. Moving to SHATTUCK HAMMOND PARTNERS in 2001, he was a Principal, a Member of the firm's Board of Directors and Head of the Consumer/retail Industry Practice. He joined Bentley in 2004. Mr. Morgan sat on the Board of Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation when it was a public company and served as Chairman of its Audit Committee. Presently Mr. Morgan serves on the Boards of Cybex International, Inc. and Executive Health Group, Inc. He earned his B.S. from UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA and his M.B.A. from HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL.
