Thomas S. Keating

THOMAS S. KEATING has over 30 years of banking experience with a wide range of experience in public and private equity markets, public and private debt transactions and providing M&A advice to middle market companies. He has acted as a generalist investment banker to corporate clients, but also has specific industry expertise in the technology, power, and energy sectors. He joined CHEMICAL BANK in 1973 and in addition to developing strong credit skills, he worked on a series of middle-market LBO transactions, developed his expertise and contacts in the power and energy sectors and also managed various debt restructuring assignments for troubled and bankrupt clients including providing debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing. Joining the Investment Banking Group at PRUDENTIAL SECURITIES in 1992, he initially worked in the Power and Energy Group on a variety of debt and equity transactions. He moved to a senior generalist banking post, before concentrating on technology financings such as initial public offerings and private equity for middle market companies at Prudential’s Volpe Technology Group. Mr. Keating joined Bentley in 2001 and is a Managing Director. He earned his B.A. from WILLIAMS COLLEGE and has participated in executive seminars sponsored by the HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL.
